Join Our Team as a Childcare Cook!

Location : AppleTree Academy

Position Type : Full-Time

Schedule : MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM 2 : 00 PM ( hour break daily)

Are you a passionate cook who loves working around children? AppleTree Academy is looking for a dedicated Childcare Cook to join our team and help nourish young minds and bodies with healthy, delicious meals.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep area
  • Order groceries and pick up food weekly
  • Accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions with care
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment

    • Qualifications :

  • Valid Food Sanitation Certificate
  • Valid driver's license (for weekly food pickups)
  • Previous cooking experience, ideally in a childcare, school, or similar setting
  • Basic knowledge of child nutrition and balanced meal preparation
  • Creativity and flexibility in menu planning
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • A genuine love for children and healthy cooking
