Direct Care Staff
Davie, Florida
Part-Time | 20 Hours Per Week
Pay: $16 – $18 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Care Staff professional to support individuals with developmental or physical disabilities in the Davie area. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Ideal candidates are patient, responsible, and experienced in providing care and assistance to individuals with special needs in home or community-based settings.
Provide direct support with daily living skills and personal care
Assist with errands, appointments, and outings
Encourage independence and engagement
Perform light housekeeping and meal prep
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Current CPR certification
Must already have completed training in:
Zero Tolerance
Direct Care Competency
HIPAA
HIV/AIDS
Must provide 3 professional references
Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
