Job Title : RN Telemetry I Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 06 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Valid nursing license Certifications : BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have : Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to work in a stressful environment Description : Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Follows Standard Precautions by using personal protective equipment as required. Cares for all cardiac needs in a supportive environment with a nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 4-6. Utilizes virtual sitter monitoring as well as monitor technicians to monitor those on telemetry.
