Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement merchandising strategies that drive customer engagement and improve conversion rates for over 40 cruise brands across our websites and marketing channels.
  • Research and assist with implementation of a merchandising tool to improve onsite suggestions in both search and on landing pages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop merchandising plans, promotional strategies, and product positioning that align with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the cruise industry.
  • Use data analytics to make informed decisions about pricing, product placement, and merchandising tactics.
  • Leverage customer insights and feedback to continually optimize the merchandising strategy.
  • Monitor the performance of merchandising initiatives and adapt strategies based on results.
  • Develop and communicate clear and compelling merchandising plans to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, marketing, or strategy roles; preferably within the travel or cruise industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective merchandising strategies that drive revenue and customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform strategy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Google Analytics and Cognos.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a dynamic industry.
  • Passion for the travel and cruise industry.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
