Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. With a population of 30,000, Galesburg is big enough to be a regional hub for great shopping, dining and recreation, but small enough to maintain its small-town roots. It’s also conveniently located on an Amtrak line, with easy access via Interstate 74 to two international airports and more in Peoria and the Quad Cities. Visit org / galesburg to download our full community guide. Education : Doctorate Licenses / Certifications : Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal heath programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served

JOB SPECIFICS :
- We are currently seeking an additional Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our community of caregivers in the Galesburg Regional Area
- Consultative practice opportunity with OSF Galesburg Clinic, a multispecialty clinic, with surgical and other subspecialty support.
- Call 1 : 3 with 24 / 7 Hospitalist Service coverage
- Enjoy a rich referral base and established program while seeing a wide range of General Orthopaedics patients
