The Role and What You'll Do :

This position works directly with the Athlete Relations Manager to meet athlete needs in the host-hotel and event venue. This position will perform job duties assigned by the Athlete Relations Manager, including but not limited to : setting up and cleanliness of the workout room, preparing locker rooms, and monitoring athlete areas during weigh-ins and the event itself. The position will also assist with stage management for live events, ensuring that athletes are prepared to enter the Octagon at the appropriate time.

  • Monitors athletes for arrival and departure from designated event city.
  • Prepares all behind-the-scenes equipment, including water, towels, gloves, corner-man buckets, workout room, etc. and ensure the athletes have their needs met for a successful event.
  • Communicates with athletes and camps for weigh-ins and provides necessary assistance to athletes to ensure they meet weight.
  • Work with Transportation Manager for athlete arrivals and departures to / from event city and Weigh in and Events.
  • Coordinates athlete and camp movements for weigh-ins and event.
  • Coordination of athletes on event nights, making sure they are ready for their bout.
  • Other duties as needed, including but not limited to : working in the warehouse and loading event trucks.

You Have These :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in live events preferred.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation is a must.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple events at the same time.
  • Ability to travel evenings and weekends for events.
  • Ability to think on your feet; problem solving skills.
  • Must currently possess, or be able to obtain, a valid passport-work requirements may include travel abroad.
  • Basic computer skills.
