We are seeking an experienced Project Specialist to join our team in Victorville CA . In this role you will be responsible for supporting project execution by managing activities resources schedules and communications between clients and internal teams. You will monitor progress address issues assist with budgets and procurement and ensure project standards and requirements are met.

The Role
Coordinate project management activities resources equipment and informationBreak projects into doable actions and set timeframesLiaise with clients to identify and define requirements scope and objectivesAssign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule managementMake sure that clients needs are met as projects evolveHelp prepare budgetsAnalyze risks and opportunitiesOversee project procurement managementMonitor project progress and handle any issues that ariseAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participantsWork with the Project Manager to eliminate blockersUse tools to monitor working hours plans and expendituresIssue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation plans and reportsEnsure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance testsOther duties as assignedRequirements
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role requiredBachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field of study a plusExperience in project management from conception to delivery requiredPMP / PRINCE2 certification a plusAn ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts schedules and step-by-step action plansSolid organizational skills including multitasking and time-managementStrong client-facing and teamwork skillsFamiliarity with risk management and quality assurance controlStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft PlannerHands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Basecamp or Trello)Ability to use remote communication tools including telephony systems and headset operationsAble to maintain productivity during extended computer-based work periodsAbility to build and sustain professional relationships through effective communication and presentation abilities when applicableStrong business acumen and analytical skillsCapable of lifting and transporting materials up to 20 pounds if necessaryPerform repetitive motions including typing writing and using computer equipmentAbility to maintain various postures including sitting for prolonged periods standing for occasional timeframes alternating between sitting and standing and occasional kneeling crouching or bendingSufficient visual acuity to read documents computer screens and fine printClear hearing ability to communicate via telephone and in-person conversationsAbility to maintain productivity during extended computer-based work periodsMust provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a drivers license is required if the role involves drivingPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR Background Check Drug ScreenThe compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
