Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, orientation and mobility specialists, related service providers, and families to ensure students’ needs are met across all learning environments. Actively participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.

Promote Accessibility : Advocate for and implement accommodations, modifications, and assistive technologies to ensure equitable access to the general education curriculum and other learning opportunities.

Support Transition Goals : Prepare students for post-secondary education, vocational settings, and independent living by teaching skills such as self-advocacy, community navigation, and adaptive technology use.

Promote Safety and Independence : Develop plans to enhance students’ safety and independence in school, home, and community environments, including orientation and mobility skills when applicable.
