Description

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative works as a team member of the Sales Department. The ISR is responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities for various customer accounts including communicating with customers in person or via phone and email. This position will also assist in managing inventory and warehouse processes.

  • Always maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicate with customers in person, via phone and email.
  • Process quotes, orders, and purchase orders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounts, products, rates and any other related needs to satisfactory completion.
  • Coordinate information between operations, sales, and production.
  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Maintain work area.
  • Light assembly of product / material required.
  • Help maintain and organize inventory.
  • Precise oral and written communication abilities for completing daily duties.
  • Ability and aptitude to learn and take direction related to training and daily duties.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized, dedicated, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work on all job sites, each site may be different.
  • Conduct yourself in the presence of customers to present the core values at BK Corrosion.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years in administrative support or customer service role.
  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable using a variety of different technologies including multiple phone systems, online tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Independently seeks out information and training needed to perform responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Education and / or Experience

  • HS Diploma.
  • 1 years experience with problem-solving and administrative support
  • Language Skills

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    No certifications are required however having a Notary is a plus
