Events Set Up Technician

Job Description Summary Set up selected areas for special events, classes, dinners, etc. and assist other departments with these events. Perform “moves” of personnel and equipment from one location to another. Assist with deliveries and distribution of materials. Other duties as assigned Responsibilities Set up for special events :

• Dinners and luncheons, special forums and meetings, classes, parties, concerts, etc.
• Inspect and reorganize all campus classrooms before Monday morning classes throughout the school year.
• Set up for bigger special events including graduation, Founders’ Day, Scholars’ Day, Orientation, Discover Chapman, American Celebration, etc.
• Perform residence hall turnovers at the beginning and end of each school year.
• Organize, set up and reconfigure each residence room / apartment / house according to Residence Life directives.
