Senior Manager, Workday Financials

Location : U.S. Remote ideally EST working hours

Employment Type : Full-Time

Compensation Range : ~$165,000 -$170,000 (depends on location)

About the Role

You will lead and own the Workday Financials program as part of a broader Finance Transformation initiative. Your work will directly impact profitability, support global revenue operations, and help make the finance organization more agile and scalable in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Accounts & Revenue Management pillar within Workday Financials, driving end-to-end processes from contracts to billing to revenue recognition.
• Act as a resident expert on Workday Financials, especially in managing customer contracts, billing schedules, and invoice-to-cash flows.
• Oversee Workday system administration : configure business processes, manage security, conduct data audits, and deploy new functionality.
• Manage biannual Workday release cycles, ensuring smooth updates and adoption.
• Identify, recommend, and track process improvements. Analyze operational issues, formulate solutions, and implement efficient, cost-effective fixes.
• Develop and maintain custom Workday reports (Advanced, Composite, Matrix), validation rules, calculated fields, and EIB-based integrations.
• Implement best practices and standards for financial systems in support of Finance functions.
• Understand the accounting data flows deeply; develop documentation like process flows, data mapping tables, test scenarios, and best practice playbooks.
