Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for skilled School Psychologists to support K-12 students in a dynamic New York, NY school setting. This role involves working closely with educators, families, and students to promote academic success and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include :
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention support to students
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress and school-wide initiatives
- Maintaining accurate documentation and plying with school and district policies
Desired qualifications and experience :
