Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for skilled School Psychologists to support K-12 students in a dynamic New York, NY school setting. This role involves working closely with educators, families, and students to promote academic success and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities include :

Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning and behavioral needs
Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
Providing counseling and crisis intervention support to students
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress and school-wide initiatives
Maintaining accurate documentation and plying with school and district policies

Desired qualifications and experience :

Valid school psychologist certification or licensure

Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment

Strong knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based interventions

Effective munication and collaboration skills to work with parents, educators, and support staff

Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and handle sensitive student information confidentially

Location : New York, NY
