Snowflake / SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Snowflake / SQL Database Administrator to join our team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our cloud-based and traditional database infrastructure. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our data environments while collaborating across teams to support enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Snowflake and SQL databases with a focus on uptime, data integrity, and security
• Implement and manage robust backup and recovery strategies
• Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, partitioning, and indexing
• Set and enforce database access controls, user roles, and permissions following security best practices
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and BI teams to support integration and analytics workflows
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely technical support
• Ensure smooth operation of data pipelines and seamless integration with various data sources and platforms

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $65 - $75 / per hour depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
