A&E Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacist to join our team in our Arden Hills office. This is a great opportunity to grow your healthcare career with A&E Pharmacy. As a Pharmacist at A&E Pharmacy, you will perform functions related to the pharmacy such as evaluating prescriptions and maintaining up-to-date patient records. This role requires professional judgment and extensive technical training and it is not a direct customer-facing position.

The ideal candidate should be able to answer pharmaceutical questions and display exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate must display compassion and understanding in addition to attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.

Position Type : Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including rotating weekends

Shift Available : Monday - Friday including rotating weekends

Wage Range : $62 - $68 / hour depending on experience

Pharmacist Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and verify all prescriptions, orders, and labels for completeness, accuracy, and safety as ordered by physicians and other authorized health care personnel.
• Provide clinical expertise, counsel on medications, answer questions about prescriptions, provide information about over-the-counter drugs, and make recommendations to patients, health care workers, or others as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and diligent documentation of queries within pharmacy software and resident database as needed.
• Maintain open and effective communication with residents, resident facilities, health care workers, fellow employees, and management.
• Implement standard compounding procedures as outlined by USP chapters

and

when filling non-sterile medication and sterile medication prescriptions, respectfully.
