The Property Claims Supervisor reports to a Claims Manager and is responsible for managing a team of adjusters that are focused on providing world-class service to our customers at every available opportunity.
Location :
This position will work remotely. The candidate must be able to work during our core Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours and must have high speed internet (internet speed test required).
Hiring Range : $100,585 - $112,096
Salary Range : $100,585 - $125,765

Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Provide guidance and direction to Claims Adjusters, Claim Adjuster IIs, and Sr. Claims Adjusters to achieve and sustain department and company goals / initiatives.Assess and supervise a team’s daily operations to achieve and sustain department and company goals / initiatives.Provide technical guidance to team members on personal / commercial and farm property claims; grant settlement authority.Interact with customers, agents, and claims teams to facilitate accurate, prompt claims resolution.Oversee and direct claim file quality.Select, manage and develop team talent; develop and maintain succession plans.Administer expense budgets; balance team workload and staffing to meet customers’ needs.Assess and manage employee performance, including personnel administration.Duties / Responsibilities :
Collaborate as a member of the Claims Management Team responsible for operational, planning, and execution to produce desired results.Support the delivery of Ethical, Responsive, Personal, and Efficient claim service.Collaborate with independent service providers to effect prompt and accurate resolution of property and catastrophe claims.Analyze, evaluate, and implement claim operational efficiencies and workflows; collaborate with others, as needed.Develop and nurture business relationships with policyholders, agents, and MOE Claims Team to facilitate accurate, prompt claims resolution.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

5+ years of insurance experience with an emphasis on property claims.Management experience is preferred.Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent business / industry experience.Insurance industry designation(s) / certification(s) preferred.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products and claims-related software, including Xactimate and Xactanalysis.Familiarity with structural construction / building practices and principles.Working knowledge of business analytics, reporting, and root cause analysis / .Knowledge of personal, commercial, and farm insurance policies.Knowledge of regulatory and legal environments.Familiarity with structural construction / building practices and principles.Demonstrated proficiency in the assessment of claims coverage, reserving protocol, and evaluation.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer, including video conferencing.Ability to travel and meet with claim staff in field claims environments.
