Job description

Exciting Opportunity for a Locum Physician in Anesthesiology

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-respected medical facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This facility is seeking three full-time anesthesiologists to assist in their Level 3 Trauma Center. The ideal candidates will have the flexibility to start as soon as possible, with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. This is an incredible chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment!

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide anesthesiology services to patients as part of a comprehensive medical team.
  • Supervise CRNAs or manage cases independently, based on your preference.
  • Participate in a rotating schedule, accommodating 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, primarily Monday through Thursday.
  • Assist in trauma cases as part of a Level 3 Trauma Center.
  • Utilize Epic for electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
  • Ensure high standards of medical care while adhering to facility protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology (True BE candidates within 5 years of residency will be considered).
  • Active Colorado medical license or IMLC.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
  • Clean background with no red flags.
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed).
  • Availability to start the week of April 7, or in May for exceptional candidates.

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology - Required.
  • Active Colorado licensure or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - Required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS - Required.
  • Proof of a clean background check - Required.
  • Flu vaccination documentation - Required.
