Job description

We are urgently seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong background in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) domain. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of custom ABAP coding within the OTC space and demonstrate excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Key Responsibilities :

  • ABAP Development : Develop, enhance, and optimize custom ABAP code, focusing on solutions within the OTC domain.
  • OTC Process Support : Analyze and resolve technical issues in Order-to-Cash workflows, ensuring seamless operations and system performance.
  • Requirement Gathering : Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Code Review & Testing : Conduct thorough code reviews and unit testing to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Communication : Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, providing clear and concise updates on project progress and challenges.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Technical Expertise :

    • Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, particularly in the OTC domain.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP SD module and integration points with other modules (e.g., FI, MM).
  • Knowledge of SAP enhancements, user exits, BADI, and BAPI in OTC processes.
  • Order-to-Cash Knowledge :

    • In-depth understanding of OTC processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and credit management.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing OTC-related custom code and configurations.
  • Soft Skills :

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Exposure to S / 4HANA environment and its technical aspects in the OTC domain.
  • Experience with integration tools such as IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
