Combination of
inpatient and outpatient care
5 PM 5 PM during the assignment period
8 AM 4 PM with call coverage outside these hours
5-10 inpatient consults per day while on-call
Required Qualifications :
Active Pennsylvania medical license
Must be
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Gastroenterology within 5 years of completing residency
Fellowship-trained in
Gastroenterology
Comfortable performing standard Gastroenterology procedures, including upper and lower GI endoscopies
Key Procedures and Skills :
Biopsy, foreign body removal, and treatment of varices
Biopsy and polyp excision
Diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities
Diagnostic and therapeutic
Diagnostic and therapeutic uses
Additional Information :
Epic
Temporary privileges are available
Provided by the hospital, with nearest airports in Pittsburgh or Latrobe
No supervision of advanced practice providers or residents is required
