Job description

We're Hiring : Enterprise Network Architect – Hybrid | Downey, CA

Are you a network expert ready to take your career to the next level? Our Client , a major public sector organization, is looking for a seasoned Enterprise Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures.

This is a hybrid role (2–3 days onsite in Downey, CA), ideal for professionals passionate about cloud networking , BGP , Cisco technologies , and high-availability architectures .

What You’ll Do :

  • Architect and maintain complex enterprise-level network infrastructure across multi-site and hybrid environments .
  • Lead advanced BGP configuration , Cisco routing / switching , and network security strategies.
  • Design and operate multi-cloud network environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, GCP).
  • Implement VPC / VNet architecture , routing, peering, and network automation .
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security across all network layers.

What We’re Looking For :

  • 6+ years of recent hands-on experience in enterprise networking and data center architecture .
  • Deep knowledge of BGP , Cisco infrastructure , and high-availability design .
  • 3+ years of cloud architecture experience across multiple cloud platforms .
  • Valid certifications :
  • Cisco : CCNP or CCIE
  • Cloud : AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Pro), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate

    • Bonus Points For :

  • Experience with Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, ACI
  • Expertise in firewalls and security in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of hybrid connectivity tools : Megaport, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPNs
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
