This major academic medical center operates as a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I trauma center with 1,273 staffed beds. The facility features a high-acuity PACU with 38 patient bays operating 24 / 7, where 80% of patients are admitted to the hospital after procedures. The emergency services department provides world-class care with comprehensive specialty support including neurosciences, cardiothoracic services, and trauma care, supported by dedicated PCT / transport teams and interdisciplinary services including respiratory therapy and rapid response teams.
