Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity exists for skilled educators to support students with diverse needs in a K-12 educational setting located in West Columbia, TX. This contract position focuses on fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students requiring special education services.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid state certification in Special Education
Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum and instructional strategies
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
Experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Location : West Columbia, TX

Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and adapt instructional plans tailored to meet the individual needs of students with special education requirements

Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure effective inclusion practices are implemented

Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation

municate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized goals

Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
