Job descriptionResponsible for material bin setup and optimization Ensuring Optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency and space utilization Setups and optimize material flow by referencing Process Documents to determine material demand, characteristics and strategy Adopts lean concepts to streamline processes to achieve process flow efficiency according to SPS principle Analyzing warehousing performance( ex : AndOns and Material turnover) to implement corrective actions
A global leader in energy management and automation is actively seeking a Logistics Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is a 6-month contract and is 100% onsite at the Fairfield, Ohio location, 7AM-3 : 30PM, so local candidates are a must.

As the Logistics Engineer, you will work with the team to leverage Process Documents to decide bin sizes, how many pieces per each bin based on usage rate, create locations, labels within the factory and manage the transfers of materials for every part within the production line.
Contract Duration : 6-month contract.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience working in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Proficient Microsoft Skills and SAP knowledge
