• is a respected international leader in high-speed steel tap manufacturing known for precision, innovation, and quality. We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team in Derby Line, VT.
• Job Summary

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems and heavy-duty equipment within our industrial facility. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair a range of machinery, from old relay logic to the latest PLC and CNC technology, ensuring safe and efficient operation to minimize downtime.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Utilize test equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair transformers, motors, lighting, and relay logic components / circuit function etc.
• Program and test automated machinery using teach pendants and controllers.
• Replacing electrical components of various mechanical systems such as motors, hydraulics, pneumatics on new and existing equipment as well as throughout the facilities power distribution system.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions for torquing and installation recommendations.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and maintain records.
• Communicate with lead personnel and maintenance team regarding functionality or safety concerns to be addressed.
• Perform work in accordance with all local and state electrical building codes, National Electric Codes (NEC), NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations.
• Utilize electrical PPE and other trade related tools safely and effectively.
• Qualifications & Skills
• Vermont Master Electrician license
• is required.
• Minimum of 2 years industrial electrical experience working with metal manufacturing machines, PLCs, and CNC machinery. (Preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of building electrical distribution.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
