Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Hematology-Oncology physician for a locum tenens assignment in a serene location near Kennan, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled provider to step into a vibrant practice with a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Job Details :

Start Date : As soon as possible
Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

One weekend of call per month (primarily phone consultations from Friday evening to Monday morning)

Patient Load : 15-20 patients per shift

Setting : Both inpatient and outpatient care

Call Details : Beeper call with occasional patient visits; admissions managed by hospitalists

Support Team : Includes nurses, medical assistants, and advanced practice providers

Required Qualifications :

Active or eligible Wisconsin medical license

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology-Oncology

Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology

Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS

Ability to supervise advanced practice providers when necessary

Practice Highlights :

Opportunity to perform bone marrow biopsies (optional)

Involvement in a typical Hematology-Oncology practice with a focus on high-quality patient care

Use of Cerner EMR system and Intellidose TxM for chemotherapy management

Other Details :

Temporary privileges available to streamline the onboarding process

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 60 days
