Based in Sydney CBD, this is a 12-month contract with views for permanency.
The Opportunity
Responsibilities
As the Head of Sales - Australia , you will lead the first Australian-based team for the organisation. This role will be responsible for building and managing a multifunctional operations team supporting customer support, sales, collections, and fraud. The focus will be on delivering best-in-class customer experience, driving engagement, and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities include :
Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on customer support and partner operations.Design and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and experience.Use KPIs and customer insights to optimize processes and performance.Partner with internal teams such as Product and Revenue Operations to enhance customer outcomes.Manage escalations and resolve complex customer issues efficiently.Conduct performance reviews, regular coaching sessions, and development planning.Monitor call quality and ensure delivery aligns with experience standards.Ensure all customer interactions comply with Australian financial regulations and consumer laws.Act as the general manager of the Sydney office.Required Skills
3+ years in a leadership role.5+ years in customer-facing roles, preferably in financial services or lending.Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing operational teams.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Experience in analyzing customer data and making insight-driven decisions.Background in fintech is highly desirable.Familiarity with CRM and customer support platforms, as well as analytics tools.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.Benefits
