Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing onboarding-related duties on a professional level and working directly with the Talent Acquisition team. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas : onboarding, recruitment, background checks, license verification and administrative support. Essential Job Functions
- Manages the onboarding of new hires for a certain area which includes but is not limited to credential verifications, background checks and scheduling pre-hire drug & occupational health screens
- Prepares, reviews and distributes offer letter, job description & other supporting documentation as directed by the Talent Acquisition Lead
- Responsible for organizing & maintaining confidential employee records and hires candidates within the Workday HRIS platform
- Reviews and updates statuses in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) where data is used for company-wide reporting
- Oversees and troubleshoots issues with all associated systems for candidates and hiring managers as needed, ie, HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, background screens, etc.
- Collaborates with Employee Health to coordinate pre-boarding requirements, including scheduling calls for drug screens, immunization, and vaccination records; proactively follows up to ensure all necessary documentation is collected based on specific position and state requirements
- Maintains frequent correspondence with candidates to prepare for their hire through email, phone and text messaging software
- Generates internal weekly communication updates to Talent Acquisition Leads, HRBP's and hiring managers regarding onboarding status of candidates
- Coordinates travel when applicable
- Assists with growing the Emerus social media footprint
- Creates and maintains SmartSheets for tracking of candidate onboarding progress
- Works closely with HRBP's to support activities involved in the DNV clinical audit process

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferredMinimum of 1 year of onboarding experience as outlined in this job description, required; 2+ years experience strongly preferredPrevious healthcare experience, strongly preferredExperience with applicant tracking systems and HRISStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills even when working at a fast pace or with interruptionsCapable of thinking and working independentlyStrong communication skills and attentive listening skills that enable them to ask probing questions to aid them in problem solving, issue resolution and escalationExcellent business writing and communication skills and the ability to interact at all organization levelsMust be a team playerProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), required
