Location : Edmond Medical Center

Shift Available : Full Time (40 hrs / week)

Behavioral Health is proud to offer services to patients 55 years +. Services include senior inpatient behavioral health, senior intensive outpatient program, medical detox and outpatient psychiatry. The behavioral health until consists of 17-beds and is not on call unit.

General Description : Plans, organizes, directs, defines and controls services provided with the Behavioral Health Program. Must demonstrate an ability to provide specified services to meet the legal, organizational, hospital and medical staff guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Program Operations : Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for department.

Provides leadership for Behavioral Health programming and development across assigned departments

Develops customer and patient satisfaction process; tracking for follow-up monthly

Monitors departmental revenues monthly and annually initiates action plans as appropriate to meet financial targets and goals

Manages performance through regular reviews for direct reports at 90 day, 6 month and yearly process

Develops direction for staff; provides written annual plan

Develop PI dashboard

Behaves ethically and honestly as demonstrated through training / education modules

Communicates with physician leaders, e.g., Psychiatrist(s), Hospitalist(s), Residents

Participates in the development of business development plans.  Business plan to be completed annual by end of January in conjunction with Business Development designee / staff, with measurable objective goals.  Monthly reports to follow.

Experience :   5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience required, with at least 5 years experience in the psychiatric or behavioral health field.
