Phlebotomist, Full Time and Part Time, Laboratory

The Phlebotomist must be competent in blood collection ,patient identification, labeling and documentation of sample collection specimen processing and various clerical tasks; to ensure quality patient care on adult, pediatric and neonatal populations, deliver care to patients utilizing established policies, procedures and protocols; effectively interact with patients, families, visitors and other staff members while maintaining standards of laboratory professionals; models appropriate behavior as exemplified in AMMC's Mission / Vision statement and reflect a commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Requirements :

Successfully completed a Phlebotomy Program w / certificate or minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience preferred; National certification preferred. On-the-job training may be available in some situations.
