Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician (or FM / IM physician with significant EM experience ) to join a growing, physician-led emergency department team in Athens, Ohio . This is a full-time, permanent role in a 22-bed ED with an annual volume of 28,000 visits , offering competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and your choice of W2 with full benefits or 1099 with guaranteed shifts .

Location : Athens, OH

️ Emergency Department Details :

22 beds

28k annual volume

24 hrs / day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)

36 hrs / day of APP coverage

EMR : EPIC

Employment Options : 1099 : $250 / hr

W2 : $240 / hr + benefits

• $10 / hr bonus for night shifts

On-site admin support + physician-led environment

Locums-to-perm candidates accepted

✅ You Must Have :

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or FM / IM with 2,000+ hours of EM experience

Active Ohio medical license (or in process)

DEA (must be obtained before start)

Clean malpractice & licensing history

Proof of COVID vaccination

List of ED procedures performed – required

Not accepting new grads or visa candidates
