Neuro Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Title : Neuro Interventional Radiology Technician Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Interventional Radiology Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 9.5 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Interventional Radiology or similar procedures License : State License required Certifications : BLS, ARRT Must-Have : - 2 years of Interventional Radiology, Angiography, or Special Procedures experience - Experience with Neuro and Interventional Radiology Description : The position is for a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technician. The technician will be responsible for general Interventional Radiology cases. These include diagnostic neuro and Interventional Radiology procedures. Responsibilities will involve drainages, CT procedures, embolization, TIPPS, angioplasty, and stent placement. The daily caseload is expected to be 5-10 procedures. The technician will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Participation in on-call duties is required, with 10 shifts per month. The facility may involve interaction with COVID-19 patients. All employees are required to have the flu vaccine. The technician must possess skills in various procedures and equipment associated with Interventional Radiology. Additional skills in patient care and equipment maintenance are essential. The position entails working with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
