Excellent communication and organizational skills

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

General Surgery Physician Assistant Responsibilities

Assist surgeons with operative and non-operative procedures in a clinical setting

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments

Deliver patient education and support throughout the surgical care process

Accurately document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record
