Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, aiding in the development of communication skills and the management of speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments of students’ speech and communication abilities.Create tailored therapy plans based on assessment results.Deliver direct therapy services focusing on articulation, language comprehension, and fluency.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to support student goals.Utilize evidence-based techniques in therapy sessions.Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting plans as necessary.Engage in IEP meetings to discuss students' speech and language needs.Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Current ASHA certification required.Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.Proficient in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric speech-language pathology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Able to problem-solve effectively with attention to detail.Familiarity with AAC systems and assistive technologies is preferred.Benefits Include :
