Adult Addiction Psychiatrist at Phelps Hospital

Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health  is seeking a  Board Certified / Board Eligible Adult Addiction Psychiatrist  to join our Behavioral Health team at  Phelps Addiction Treatment Services . We are recruiting for a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Phelps Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) offers Outpatient Rehabilitation Day Treatment and Outpatient Clinic for adults through a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to address issues and concerns regarding addiction. ATS is geared toward helping individuals understand addictive behaviors and develop self-awareness to support their rehabilitation process. ATS provides education and counseling to assist clients in regaining their ability to manage their life and emotional stressors resulting from ongoing problems caused by the addiction of a family member or significant other.

Phelps Hospital is a 238-bed community hospital situated on a scenic 70-acre campus along the Hudson River in Sleepy Hollow, NY, just 40 minutes to NYC. Phelps offers one of the broadest ranges of community hospital services in Westchester. Patients benefit from distinguished physicians, many of whom are pioneers in their field, offering the most advanced procedures using the latest technology. With over 1,700 employees, we are one of the largest employers in Westchester County.  The hospital has an OMH-licensed 22-bed inpatient psychiatric unit as well as an OASAS-licensed 20-bed inpatient chemical dependence rehabilitation unit.  There is an OMH-licensed outpatient Clinic as well as a Continuing Day Treatment Program.  An OASAS-licensed outpatient chemical dependence unit which provides Day Rehabilitation as well as Clinic level services is co-located at the OMH Clinic site. The hospital also has a Care Management program which supports our patients.
