Description

We're looking for a Transportation Planning / Traffic Engineer in Training (EIT) in Lexington, KY to support transportation planning studies and be involved in client engagement from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of senior planners and engineers to assist in the development of transportation planning studies, corridor studies, and multimodal planning initiatives.
• Support data collection, technical analysis, and the preparation of planning and traffic engineering documents and reports.
• Assist with GIS mapping, travel demand modeling, and forecasting efforts.
• Prepare presentation materials for public meetings, stakeholder outreach, and client briefings.
• Coordinate with clients, MPOs, DOTs, local agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Help develop project scopes, schedules, and deliverables in support of planning efforts.
