This role will have overall responsibility for design and management of specific projects, including K-12 and higher education, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, civic, government, and historic preservation. Key Responsibilities : Manage projects from design through construction. Develop geometric layouts of structures and perform load calculations. Design and detail building structures, with familiarity in Risa and / or Etabs. Review analysis, check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by other engineers. Perform seismic analysis and design of building structures. Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to less experienced engineers. Interact with owners, contractors, architects, and engineers of different disciplines. Develop business as part of the RTM team. Minimum Qualifications : Experience with various building structure types including hospitality, educational, industrial, commercial, and residential, preferably in a consulting engineering environment. Minimum 5 years of experience as a structural engineer; professional licensure required. Detail-oriented with strong skills in structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems. Ability to work in a team environment with diversified knowledge of technology, materials, and construction techniques. Leadership skills to guide team members and collaborate with engineers in remote locations. Skills : Team-oriented, professional, self-starter with a positive attitude and multi-tasking capabilities.
