Department / Unit Summary The Medical Surgical at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. This 33-bed unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. Additional requirements include : Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date. Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date. Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
