ACCOUNT MANAGER- EVENT SALES

As an Account Manager- Event Sales, you will build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients, ensuring event success and client satisfaction. As part of our dynamic Sales Team, you will also be responsible for sales and revenue growth. We are looking an individual who has an eye for design and impeccable attention to detail.

Role and Responsibilities :
Provide best-in-class care to clients throughout event life cycle, from initial inquiry to item returnEffectively manage existing portfolio of accounts, while acquiring and developing new businessCreate positive relationships with clients, venues, and vendorsLead negotiations and contract discussionsUnderstand event timeline to ensure seamless vendor logistics, communicating with collaborators as neededBuild event layouts to venue specifications and client requests utilizing CAD softwareAccurately process orders, contracts, service, and follow-upPartner with Dispatch and Operations teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and processed accurately and timelyMaster our inventory to meet and exceed our client needs; make knowledgeable suggestions to upsell and improve client experienceBuild knowledge of vendors and venues to elevate the service providedProactively foresee potential issues and provide guidance and recommendations to ensure exceptional client experienceMonitor sales metrics, recognize sales goals, and achieve revenue targetsQualifications and Requirements :
Minimum 3-5 years of hospitality or event industry experience, sales experience advantageousBachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or similar field advantageousDemonstrated experience in developing relationships with clients, while recognizing opportunities for new businessProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and inventory management software programsExcellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskOutstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform under pressure, be adaptable, and meet competing deadlinesPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Work Location : Rotation to various showrooms in the Pittsburgh Region with our Headquarters in Eighty Four.Rotating Saturday coverage is requiredRequired to be proficient in English and to speak and hearManual dexterity required for use of keyboard and telephoneAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat up to 8 hours a dayAbout Us
