Role Summary :
Title : Senior Tax Analyst - State & Local Income Tax (SALT)Team Structure : Reports to the Director of Indirect Tax within the Corporate Tax DepartmentPrimary Scope : State and local income / franchise tax compliance, tax provision support, audit and notice response, and multistate apportionmentBroader Exposure : Opportunity to gain experience in international direct and indirect taxation in a high-growth, fast-paced environmentKey Responsibilities :
Prepare and review state and local income / franchise tax returns and estimated payments across multiple jurisdictionsAssist with quarterly and annual tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740Maintain and analyze apportionment data (property, payroll, sales) for multistate reportingRespond to tax notices and support state audits and inquiriesConduct technical research and write memos on SALT-related mattersPartner with internal departments (Accounting, Finance, Operations) to validate tax dataSupport tax strategy for new operations and geographic expansionParticipate in process improvements and tax automation projectsGain exposure to international tax projects under mentorshipIdeal Candidate Profile :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMI a plus)3+ years of experience in SALT compliance and provision, preferably in public or corporate settingsFamiliarity with construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is a strong plusProficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)Understanding of multistate apportionment and state tax rulesStrong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skillsMotivated to develop international tax skills within a dynamic environmentCompensation & Benefits :
