JOB SUMMARY :

The primary responsibility of the dining room runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the bartenders and food servers to the guest quickly.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Serve food in a timely manner.
• Ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests.
• Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests needs.
• Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
• Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area / station.
• Ensure work area / station is clean and stocked at all times.
• Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
