Job Description
- Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
- Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
- Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
- Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
- Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
- Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
Qualifications : Qualifications
Minimum of one year experience in medical / surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing, or significant medical / surgical clinical experience during schooling is preferred.Current Maryland Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent CPR CertificationAdditional Information
