Manager Engineer - Palazzo Tower

Location : Las Vegas, Nevada, US

Position Overview :

The primary responsibility of the Manager - Engineering is to oversee the assigned shop and its operations. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures. This is a safety-related position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee shop operations.
• Responsible for all timesheets, sign-in sheets, etc. for Team Members in shop.
• Coordinate property maintenance and scheduling.
• Assist Engineering Department wherever needed to promote the safety and well being of the guests / employees and to protect the facility as directed by your supervisor.
• Plan and organize special work projects.
• Assist Engineers whenever possible.
• Maintain a current MSDS book.
• Manage responsibilities for the department to include : hiring of new Team Members, promotions, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, discipline, recognition, and termination.
• Safety is an essential function of this job.
• Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
