Entry-Level Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky, and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting while contributing to the department's operational goals. Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, vendor communication, and statement reviews.
• Manage accounts receivable functions such as invoicing, addressing customer inquiries, and handling collections.
• Set up item masters and apply manufacturing cost accounting principles, ensuring accurate variance tracking.
• Assist in preparing for and participating in both internal and external audits.
• Evaluate and refine operational processes to uphold efficiency and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate accounting entries and contribute to month-end closing activities.
• Collaborate on special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Travel as needed up to 10% to support accounting operations or audits.
