Job description

American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with Phase I recovery experience and required certifications for a day shift assignment.

Job Details

Work in a hospital Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with pre-op and Phase II responsibilities,
12-hour day shifts with a schedule of 3 shifts per week,
Weekend and holiday call coverage required in a rotation,
No regular on-call responsibilities outside of scheduled weekends and holidays,

Job Requirements

Active IL RN license required,

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required,

Previous Phase I and PACU nursing experience required,

Experience with pre-op and Phase II patient care,

Additional Information

Care for patients in pre-operative, immediate post-anesthesia, and Phase II recovery,

Participation in rotating weekend and holiday coverage is required,

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient recovery,
