WeCare is actively seeking a motivated Director of Nursing for communities in Pittsburgh, PA .  Our Director of Nursing is an integral part of the care team that helps enhance the lives of our residence.

Our DON is responsible for the nursing clinical department with a full team of support!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures
• Manage staffing levels, including scheduling and shift management
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration
