Position Summary : As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality direct and indirect patient care. You will coordinate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and effectively communicate patient clinical conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, focusing on psychosocial, physical, educational, and cultural needs.
- Provide age-appropriate care, particularly for adult and geriatric populations.
- Manage and educate patients and families regarding pain assessment and management.
- Develop and revise individualized care plans based on assessment and treatment responses.
- Administer medications safely while minimizing errors.
- Ensure patient safety and promote positive outcomes in all care environments.
- Document nursing processes and patient responses timely and accurately.
- Demonstrate flexibility and organizational skills under stress, employing critical thinking in care prioritization.
- Formulate and assess teaching plans, involving families in the educational process.
- Exhibit autonomous practice adhering to evidence-based standards.
- Provide accurate reports for safe patient care transitions.
- Monitor patients receiving antineoplastic therapy, understanding its effects, risks, and benefits.
- Ensure diligent monitoring for patients on remote telemetry, responding promptly to any concerns.
Education / Certification :
