MRO Buyer

Job Description

Reporting to the Planning / MRO Manager at our Fort Madison facility, local producers of Armour, Nalley, Van Camp’s, and Ranch Style, you will build and execute category strategy for assigned supplies, materials or services following approved buying programs using the established procurement policy at a competitive price ensuring the needs of internal customers are met.

How Will You Affect Our Business?

• Manage categories to help reduce potential supply and quality issues
• Provide support for sourcing materials or services, savings projects, and procurement strategies.
• Monitor and analyze data to ensure supply at competitive market prices
• Provide POV (point of view) update monthly to communicate changes in pricing, market data, and CCRs
• Monitor vendor quality and service performance with internal customers.
• Champion corrective actions and quality improvement programs with facilities, quality assurance, R&I and suppliers.
• Lead and implement process improvements, CCR projects, working capital, and inventory projects.

Compensation :

Pay Range : $59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to : location, relevant experience / level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
