Location: Aviation Institute of Maintenance, 4100 Raytown Rd. Kansas City, MO 64111

Schedule:

• MondayThursday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• One weekly late shift: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM (MondayThursday only)
• Occasional Saturday shifts: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM

Compensation: Up to $30.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven, student-focused Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and skilled at guiding prospective students toward informed, life-changing academic decisions.

As an Admissions Representative, you will connect students with programs that support their goals while consistently meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and enrollment success. This dynamic role requires communication skills, a positive attitude, and delivery of exceptional service in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit
• Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process
• Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance
• Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up
• Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation
• Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associates' or higher degree preferred
• Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios. One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred
• Skill set: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, willing to learn new systems. A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
