Element is searching for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined person to add to the Machine shop. This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process.

Salary : $20 / hr-$24 / hr + $1.00 Shift Diff once on 2nd shift

Responsibilities

Willing to train the right candidate

• Set-up , Operate and Monitor machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
• Select , Align , and Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
• Safely operate Machine Shop equipment such as saws, waterjet, lathe, mill, and grinder to produce test specimens from customer supplied parts, forgings, etc.
• Ability to use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
