Description

Inpatient Consultations along with ER Call Coverage

We are Trauma Level 3 and actively seeking Trauma Level 2 Certification

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Call is for both assigned and unassigned patients

Able to do complex procedures, i.e. ERCPs

We do not provide a beeper and / or cell phone. Our practice has been that we utilize physicians cell phone #

Requirements :

Physician must be board certified and / or board eligible.

Ability to do advanced procedures, i.e., ERCP procedures

Will require the ability to administer moderate sedation, as at times we do not have anesthesia readily available

ACLS life safety certification

Scope of Service

Emergency Room Call

Inpatient Consultations

Coverage for community physicians in-house patients during scheduled coverage days as needed

Hand-off communication to ER physician on-call and / or community physician when scheduled coverage days are completed

Any prospective candidates MUST hold a current Texas License and DEA.
