Job description

HVAC Technician- Nampa, ID

Amalgamated Sugar Company is looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to help us install, maintain, and repair our heating / cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning air quality equipment and performing maintenance procedures as well as providing emergency repairs when necessary. This position will report to the Electrical Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are identified.
  • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings.
  • Categorize and organize inventory of critical parts.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
  • Experience :

    • Journeyman HVAC : 2 years (Required)

    License / Certification :

  • Idaho Journeyman HVAC License (Required)
  • EPA Type II or Universal (Required)
  • Current driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Certification or associate degree from an HVAC program at a technical school.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

    Pay : From $32.32 per hour
